Every room needs a leather side chair to either sit in our use to pile your clothes on. This one is a find. At $85, it is more of an investment as it could easily be sold for more with a little effort to fix it up. Since the chair already has a distressed look, I would try to sand down the arms and legs to distress the edges. Then I would attempt to stain the wood with a dark color. Or on the other hand if you want to be funky and cool, take the whole chair and paint the entire thing with a white matte color, either making the brush strokes large and visible. Or you can completely and evenly cover the chair in a color paint. Chairs also don’t have to be used as chairs. They can act as shelves. This piece is great for that due to the fact that the surface is relatively stiff and flat. Put a row of books on the seat using the arms as bookends, or use it to stack coffee table books and magazines. A cheap blank canvas that has the potential to be an unexpected gem.
