Haus Obsessed
This one picture is enough inspiration for an entire post. I have never seen a more regal closet, stately and chic, whilst not being dated. The gold walls are intense but not fussy because they lack patterns and textures. The hanging lamp is simple yet strong and contrasts the moulding around the base. What I adore most are the regal looking painting of what seems to be important gentlemen, some in frames and some just a canvas. The frames that rest on the floor would look great as mirrors to add some depth to the space, making it appear to be a secret passage below the rack of clothing. The bench is minimal since it lacks quilting though it is intense in a dark purple to add depth without any drama. This room reminds me of Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Stoic and dignified. The room doesn’t scream, but the few pieces say enough without saying too much.
